The Holidays are upon us and it’s time for the Sephora Favorites for Holiday Shopping 2020 wishlist! Honestly, I can’t even understand how we got here; I feel like it was just the Summer! Although we can all pretty much agree that 2020 was a dumpster fire of a year, there are a few constants that I feel like I can rely on to make the bad times a little bit better. What is one of those constants? Makeup!
Ever since I began wearing makeup, I’ve always found something so therapeutic about scrolling through makeup products, learning new techniques about it, and even just applying it. The A to Z about makeup just makes me feel all warm inside, hence why I’m so obsessed with it!
Being a makeup fanatic, it’s never hard to guess what I want for the Holidays. Of course, I definitely love a surprise here and there, but when all else fails, makeup is always at the top of my list. In this post, I’ll be sharing with you guys my Ultimate Sephora Favorites for Holiday shopping. If you’re shopping for yourself, a loved one, or just want to see what’s on my Sephora Favorites for Holiday Shopping 2020 wishlist, this post will point you in the right direction! I’ll be sharing with you guys the products I’ve been eyeing and the products that have been on my radar these past couple of months!
1) Huda Beauty – Naughty Nude Eyeshadow Palette ($67.00)
Ever since I first saw this palette, I was immediately drooling! The shades are right up my alley, neutral and warm, and there are also so many different finishes. The palette has metallics, marble creams, mattes, and even a gloss hybrid. Although this palette doesn’t have the most “new” color story since it’s a nude palette, the different kinds of finishes in this palette really intrigue me!
2) Huda Beauty – Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette in Nude Light ($29.00)
This eyeshadow palette immediately caught my eye the second that I saw it be revealed on Instagram! Judging by the first two products in this list, I think you can tell that I’m a sucker for nude eyeshadows. I personally love a natural makeup look, hence why I usually gravitate towards nude shades. Other than loving more natural colors, I also love love love shimmers and all things glittery! This palette has a perfect mix of wearable mattes and also some stunning shimmers to really give your look that pop! They have three different types of nude palettes (nude light, nude medium, and nude rich) which are equally as stunning!
3) Charlotte Tilbury – Hollywood Flawless Filter ($44.00)
When I first saw this product, I was honestly a little bit confused. Is it a foundation? Is it a highlighter? I honestly couldn’t really tell so I just put the product in the back of my mind and forgot about it. A few months ago, I went on a vacation and I tried this product out and I was stunned! I applied a bit of this product directly on my skin on the high points of my face, blended it out, and then put the foundation right on top. My skin had the most gorgeous, natural glow to it and it looked so radiant and so healthy; I was obsessed!
When looking at exactly what the product is, I’m still not entirely sure since it’s marketed as a “liquid tinted complexion booster”, so some may wear it as a highlighter and some may even wear it in place of their foundation. Regardless of what it is, I can wholeheartedly tell you this product is so great, the packaging is so luxe, and it’s definitely at the top of my Sephora Favorites!
4) Dyson – Airwrap Styler ($549.00)
Before I even give you guys a little description of the product, let’s address the elephant in the room: the PRICE! I feel like the price of this air styler is seriously outrageous but, since this is a holiday guide, I feel like this product is a super special gift. The Dyson Airwrap is a styler that’s made to dry and style your hair without any extreme heat; reducing the damage to your hair.
It also comes with many different attachments so that you can get your desired look when styling your hair! I’m definitely not going to be asking for this on my list this year, however, this product is the ultimate hair styling dream. For now, though, I’ll happily stick with my Revlon Volumizer, which is seriously amazing as well!
5) Sephora Favorites Sets – Various ($29.00 – $48.00)
Each year, Sephora releases their own “favorites” holiday sets and I honestly feel like they get better and better each year. The sets are ideal if you’re shopping for a makeup lover (or even for yourself!), but you don’t want to commit to a single product. These sets allow you to try out some high-end brand best-sellers, all without breaking the bank. One of my favorite things about these sets is that they include a mixture of both mini and full-sized products, so it’s the best of both worlds! The sets pictured here are the Makeup Musthaves Bestsellers Set, Baby, Let’s Glow Outside Bronzer & Highlighter Set, and the Lashstash Mascara Set.
6) Natasha Denona – Glam Eyeshadow Palette ($65.00)
If you watch makeup gurus, or even if you follow some makeup accounts on Instagram, then chances are you’ve heard about Natasha Denona shadows and how amazing they are. Although I’ve always been fascinated by her eyeshadow and formulas, I’ve never really found a palette that I was in love with. If I were to ever spend this much money on a single palette, I feel like I should see myself using each shade in the palette.
Then, this palette came along and I was obsessed. Although I love me some neutral warm tones, this product has both the most perfect neutral cool and warm tones that just have me drooling and we can’t forget about the gorgeous shimmers; I’m seriously obsessed!
7) Huda Beauty – #FauxFilter Skin Finish Buildable Coverage Foundation Stick ($39.00)
I’ve never really been into stick foundations, but when this one launched, I was immediately intrigued. This product was advertised as a foundation that will give you a gorgeous finish on the skin while looking natural, and it can also be used for oily skin. I typically didn’t lean toward sticks because they seemed hard to blend out or apply, but the reviews on this foundation tell a completely different story!
When looking at the reviews, customers say how this foundation blends flawlessly, reduces pore appearance, controls your oils, and makes your skin look flawless without being cakey. Basically, this foundation sounds pretty perfect and it’s definitely an item on my Sephora Favorites for Holiday Shopping 2020 wishlist!
8) Rare Beauty – Best of Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek Mini Duo ($15.00)
Earlier this year, I tried out the Rare Beauty liquid blush and I haven’t been able to stop using it ever since I tried it. As someone with oily skin, I was a little skeptical about trying out a cream blush, however, this product is magical. It blends well, lasts long, and it also looks very natural on the skin. When I was scrolling through the Sephora site, I noticed that they have a duo set from Rare Beauty which includes a mini liquid blush in the shade Bliss (my favorite!), and it also includes a Rare Beauty tinted lip balm in a nude shade. I feel like this set would be such a perfect gift for a beauty lover!
9) Benefit – The Cheekleaders Squad Cheek Palette (Sale: $36.00)
Benefit is known for having amazing complexion products such as bronzers, blushes, etc. Although I’ve wanted to try them all out, I always felt like the price tag was a bit steep so I just kind of veered away from it. However, when I was looking for some of my favorites on Sephora, I noticed that this gorgeous palette was currently on sale and I just KNEW it was a must-have! This palette contains full-sized blushes, highlighters, and bronzers, in their iconic best-selling formulas. I highly recommend picking up this palette since it has a little bit of everything, all at a fraction of its original cost!
10) Drunk Elephant – The Littles Set ($90.00)
If you haven’t heard, Drunk Elephant is a very high-end skincare brand that has products that work actual miracles on people’s skin. Although the brand has always had my attention, the steep price tag always turned me away from them. However, Drunk Elephant has a set available that features eight of their brand bestsellers so that you can give them a shot! The set contains both AM and PM products and it also comes with a little “recipe” card so that you can know exactly when and how to use these amazing products! If you’re shopping for a skincare lover, I feel like this set would really hit it out of the park!
