TJ Maxx | Home of the High-End Makeup at Budget Prices!
I’m sure you’ve all heard amazing stories about TJ Maxx and the luxury makeup gems that can be found there. If you’re anything like me, every time you head to the TJ Maxx makeup aisle, you expect greatness but end up with nothing compared to what you’ve seen online.
If you experience those small disappointments, don’t worry, you’re not alone! For years, each time that I’m at TJ Maxx, I immediately head for the makeup aisle and I find absolutely nothing exciting whatsoever. However, about a month ago, I was shopping around at a TJ Maxx and I felt like I struck actual gold! I’ll share with you guys exactly what I got, the price that I got it for, and hopefully, this will inspire you to head to TJ Maxx and find some high-end gems all at a fraction of their original price! I’m so amazed that I found these products and I’m so excited to share them all with you.
1) Stila – Little White Lies Liquid Eyeshadow (Shade: Fuchsia Fiction)
Original Price: $24.00 At TJ Maxx: $4.99
Starting off the TJ Maxx haul, we have the Stila – Little White Lies Liquid Eyeshadow. When I saw this at TJ Maxx, I literally froze! Stila is known in the makeup community for having a gorgeous liquid eyeshadow formula. Their formulas are known for being long-wearing, easy to apply, and my favorite, ultra shimmery. I couldn’t believe my eyes that these were actually available at such an affordable price.
When I got out of the store, I immediately swatched the shade and I was mesmerized. The shade is a gorgeous pink that’s just stunning. Although I’m someone that feels most comfortable with applying neutral shades on my eyes, this eyeshadow really inspired my creativity with makeup and really pushed me outside of my usual neutral looks.
This eyeshadow is super easy to blend to apply. When working with it though, I recommend working on it one eye at a time since it does tend to dry quickly. This liquid eyeshadow can be applied on the eyes and blended out all over for a slightly subtle look, or you can layer it on to really pack a punch. One of my favorite things about this formula is the reflection inside the product. With each turn, the sparkles catch the light and are seriously so reflective and shimmery, it’s just amazing. Sometimes, the shade looks light pink, sometimes it has a blue shift to it, and sometimes it even looks like a white shade as well. Each turn of your head will show you a different reflection of the eyeshadow and it’s seriously so beautiful.
I’ll add a picture of me wearing the eyeshadow so you guys can see just how stunning this shade is! I’m praying and hoping that these are also available at your local TJ Maxx since the price just can’t be beaten for this high-quality product!
2) NARS – Oil Infused Lip Tint (Shade: Primal Instinct)
Original Price: $26.00 At TJ Maxx: $7.99
When I saw this product on my trip to my TJ Maxx haul, I can’t even begin to explain how excited I was! I’ve said it time and time again on this blog, I’m seriously obsessed with lip balms, lip oils, and everything in between. I love having my lips feel moisturized and plump throughout the day, and I also love the juicy finish that those products give my lips as well.
When I first heard about the NARS Lip Oil, I was so intrigued in giving it a shot but I felt like the steep price tag kind of turned me away from it. However, when I saw this at TJ Maxx, I just knew that I had to have it and see what it’s all about. Let me tell you, this product is seriously amazing. The shade that I picked up is Primal Instinct, which is a light pink nude shade. The formula is super hydrating, doesn’t feel sticky at all on the lips, and also gives your lips the most delicious shine ever. This lip oil is so great and it really feels so comfortable on the lips. I definitely recommend picking up this product, but I’d first check the makeup aisle at TJ Maxx so you can save yourself a few dollars!
3) Anastasia Beverly Hills – Contour Kit
Original Price: $40.00 At TJ Maxx: $24.99
The final hidden gem that I found during my TJ Maxx haul shopping trip was the ABH Contour Kit! This product has been a cult favorite for the longest time, and I was so beyond surprised to see this at TJ Maxx. I’m not the biggest fan of contour because I like to do my makeup as quick as possible and to look as natural as possible, however, given that this product was half off, I couldn’t pass it up.
This contour kit comes with 6 different shades for the perfect contoured look. The top three shades are meant to highlight your face and bring brightness, while the bottom three shades are what you would use for sculpting. If you’re not the biggest fan of using contour for your daily makeup routine, the bottom shades can also be used as bronzers as well. I’ve found these shades to work perfectly for my skin tone, and they also blend so well. If you’ve ever been wondering about what shades you’ll need for that perfect contoured look, or if you’ve ever been intimidated about contour in general, this kit is perfect for it all.
One thing I want to mention is that these shades are all super pigmented, so a little bit goes a long way and I feel like it would last you a super long time as well. I would definitely pick this product up at full price, however, if you find this at your local TJ Maxx that would be one hundred times better!

I hope you guys enjoyed my little TJ Maxx haul! I’ve never really been a believer that you can find amazing high-end products at low prices when it comes to makeup, however, it’s definitely possible! I’m so obsessed with these products and now I’m going to be a million times more motivated to see what other high-end goodies I can find on a bargain!
